The USN MEDICAL DEPARTMENT SLEEPING PANTS have been made from a vat dyed cotton square cloth. Soft finishings include a front belt of cotton tape and single snap fastening. The pants are finished with two side pockets and a MEDICAL DEPARTMENT U.S.N. stamp at the waist band.

Originally issued for use in naval medical facilities, including shipboard sickbays and field hospitals, these pants were designed for comfort and ease of wear, serving both patients and medical staff. Early models were typically made from white cotton cloth, while later 1950s versions were crafted from light blue cotton flannel, both colors commonly associated with hospital attire. This reinterpretation is made from the same square cloth used for our N-3 UTILITY SHIRT.
