The BUCO 12 OZ. F/Z PARKA / RIDING TOGS is made in Japan from a dense 12oz sinker-knit cotton fabric, known for its weight and durability. It is constructed with cotton sewing thread and assembled on a four-needle flatlock machine for added strength and comfort. The "RIDING TOGS" slogan and flying wheel graphic are hand screen-printed on the chest at our Kobe headquarters using traditional manual techniques, achieving the authentic texture and feel of vintage garments that automatic machines cannot replicate. The sleeves feature a bold "BUCO PRODUCT" print using the same process.

This fabric has been specially knit using a high-speed sinker knitting machine which was originally developed as a more efficient alternative to the traditional loopwheel machine. While the loopwheel is known for its loose weave and slow production, the sinker machine not only increased efficiency but also allows for the creation of denser, heavier fabrics ideal for robust, high-quality garments.
